Indeed, the care products that make up this range have obtained, after analysis by the Ecocert organization, the “Cosmos Organic” label. This is the new standard in terms of organic cosmetics, combining environmental protection and well-being.
Specifically, Sothys has developed products whose formulas contain at least 20% organic ingredients and a minimum of 95% plant-based ingredients. The process for obtaining and transforming the ingredients is respectful of the planet and human health, while also being based on green chemistry. Finally, the packaging is eco-friendly and recyclable, and the labeling provides information on the content of naturally occurring components.
The packaging line of this range is eco-designed and manufactured in France or in Europe:
- Case: The cardboard used for their manufacture comes from sustainably managed forests. The cases are not cellophane-wrapped and are printed on the front and back to eliminate the need for a leaflet.
- Bottle: Made from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (recycled and recyclable plastic), its service cap is made from recyclable polypropylene
- Tube: Made using PCR (Post-consumer recycled), meaning it is made from 50% recycled and 100% recyclable plastic. The removable cap is made of recyclable polypropylene and the usual aluminium seal has been replaced by an eco-designed sticker.
