What is a comedone extractor used for?
A comedone, also known as a blackhead, can appear at any time and at any age. It is a buildup of sebum in the pores of the skin. Initially, it is called a “whitehead,” and appears when the sebaceous glands are clogged and there is excess sebum. It is then called a “blackhead” when the sebum oxidizes and turns black upon contact with air.
These blackheads are then real breeding grounds for spots, because if they do not open on their own, bacteria can accumulate and cause the appearance of inflammation and spots.
A comedone extractor will then exert pressure on the blackhead in order to force the sebum out in order to deeply clean the pores of the skin.
Why do I have blackheads?
Several factors cause the appearance of blackheads. The first is excess sebum. Oily skin, which is extremely prone to excess sebum production, is the first to be affected, however all skin types can experience blackheads appearing during their lifetime. These blackheads most often appear on the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin).

How does a blackhead remover work? Is a blackhead remover effective?
Using a blackhead remover is a delicate process. There are a few rules and precautions to follow to ensure it works perfectly.
- Before :
- Clean and disinfect your blackhead remover with alcohol or an antiseptic
- Clean your hands and face properly using warm water and mild soap.
- Remove dead skin cells with a scrub
- Take a steam bath or apply a glove or towel soaked in hot water to your face for a few minutes to open the pores.
- During extraction:
- Position the rounded tip on the area affected by blackheads. The blackhead remover should be positioned so that the blackhead is in the center of the loop.
- Slowly and firmly press the blackhead extractor to apply enough pressure to remove the blackhead. If the blackhead does not come out, do not force it. This may be because the skin pores are not dilated enough or the blackhead is not mature.
- Repeat the operation on each of the blackheads
- After :
- Disinfect your blackhead remover and the treated area again.
- Finish this routine by applying your usual care: lotion, serum, eye contour and cream

Shipping is free to a pickup point for orders of €49 or more and to your home for orders of €69 or more.
Any order over 130€ must be signed for upon delivery.
